Yesterday I learned that Pandoc can create PowerPoint presentations from markdown. It’s old news apparently, one of those updates that I missed as everything descended into “pandemic time,” but this should be very helpful for me. For the last dozen years or so, I’ve been using Pandoc to make LaTeX beamer presentations for my class lectures, through a clunky workflow that has gotten more unwieldy over time. This will simplify my work considerably. Meanwhile, Pandoc’s wonders never cease.
